Chardonnay and Pinot Noir
take to the skies!

These two wines of excellence come from cool,
clay-limestone terroirs selected for their huge aromatic
potential. Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, bathed in the
generous sunlight enhanced by the plots’ southern aspect,
express themselves with the freshness and tension
conferred by the 250 to 400 meters altitude.
Labouré-Roi also perpetuates the Burgundian heritage in
the blending and ageing of its two king grape varieties:
monitoring vinification, pre-assembling cuvées of different
origins, then ageing with regular batonnage every 15 days.
Labouré-Roi ages them for six months, revealing their terroir
identity, while preserving the origin of the grape varieties
and the style of the Burgundy House.
The result is remarkably well-balanced wines: a pure and
elegant Chardonnay with vine peach, citrus and hawthorn
aromas and a lingering mineral finish; a fresh, full and
delicious Pinot Noir boasting beautifully ripe red and black
fruit with hints of liquorice and undergrowth, lingering and
with the structure to be laid down for ageing.
