A cuvée celebrating 100 years of OIV

In 2021, OIV (the International Organisation of Vine and Wine) began
work on its headquarters in Dijon, inaugurated this November to mark
its hundredth anniversary. That was all it took for its president at the
time, Professor Luigi Moio, to return to his Jura and Jurassic roots in
remembrance of a wine made for OIV thirty years ago by Henri Maire!
He therefore tasted plot selections from the estate’s thirty-year-old
Pinot Noir vines in Arbois in order to create this new anniversary cuvée.
Born out of a close collaboration between Italian winemaker Luigi Moio
and Jura œnologist Jacques Hauller, this unique blend plays with an
exhilarating range of small black fruit aromas over a silky structure.
This is a hugely symbolic wine: the 2022 vintage marked Pasteur’s
bicentenary in Arbois and the cuvée was named H29, with 29
representing the date that OIV was created in November 1924 and
       also the vat number!
This wine was the star of the celebrations at OIV, also known as the © OIV
       United Nations of wine.
