2023 harvest
’A winemaker’s vintage! ’
A good year with fine weather helped the vines yield healthy,
aromatic grapes with low alcohol levels and slightly low acidity.
The winter rains were vital in preventing any water stress. There
were no heat peaks during the mild summer, which helped the
grapes to ripen.
In Napa valley, the harvest started two weeks later than usual on
August 29 and ended on November 4. Elsewhere in Sonoma, the
harvest was condensed into an intense few weeks throughout
October, ending on 3 November.
This vintage promises to be exceptional in terms of both quality
and quantity, putting a smile back on everyone’s face. All the care
and attention in the vineyards have paid off!
