10 years of

the Sommelier Selection!

Raymond Vineyards has been closely associated
with the craft of the sommelier for 10 years now.

This began with the creation of a special
wine, Sommelier Selection, made by
sommeliers for the restaurant trade, and
has continued through support of the
United Sommeliers Foundation, which
comes to the aid of professionals affected
by restaurant closures.
A fund-raising sale of the 2017 vintage
raised $12,000 for the charity.
The 2018 vintage, available in spring, will
mark 10 years of this collaboration. To
commemorate the occasion, the names
of the 84 sommeliers, who have come to
Raymond Vineyards over the years to create
this special wine made for a good cause,
will feature on the label.

En route for Raymond Vineyards

There is a new road in Napa, unlike any other! It’s only 3km long,
but it’s essential as it threads discreetly between high rows of vines,
connecting the famous Route 29 directly to Raymond Vineyards.

But those who tread this road, beware! You may be affected by “The
,
Alchemy of the Senses” a nod to Jean-Charles Boisset’s book. And
this is the new name of this almost-metaphasic path after a social
media campaign was run to select it. Almost 500 people participated
in the exercise.
The road is bordered by nine crystal stones buried alongside the
vines, each with a specific meaning: Elevation, success, energy, joy,
inspiration, passion, taste, excellence, and dreams. This energy-laden
path was designed to awaken your senses and put you in the perfect
mood to experience an extraordinary tasting experience!
