24/11 - Raymond Vineyards has extended its estate in Napa...
Raymond Vineyards has extended its estate in Napa with the purchase of 22 hectares (55 acres) from the Bartolucci Vineyard. Planted with Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc, and Muscat, these vines are currently being converted to organic and biodynamic cultivation, and some of the Sauvignon Blancs and Muscats will be replaced with Cabernet, the emblematic varietal of the region.
This acquisition brings the estate’s own vines up to 154 hectares (380 acres) and widens out Raymond Vineyard’s portfolio of its three original plots of St. Helena Vineyard to the north, Rutherford Vineyard in the heart of Napa Valley, and Jameson Ridge Vineyard to the south.
