04/06 - A film on the geological genesis of the Burgundy region wins the Imaginarium prize at the Œnovidéo festival !
The 24th Œnovidéo festival took place in June at the Cité du Vin in Bordeaux during Vinexpo. The official selection included 24 films of the 112 on show, and 16 countries in competition. Cédric Klapisch was the event’s patron and was accompanied by Ana Girardot and the crew of his latest critically acclaimed movie, “Back to Burgundy”.
Eleven films won awards. The Grand Prix Œnovidéo 2017 went to “La Vinya I la Banya” from Spain, while festival partner, the Imaginarium, presented its award to “Bourgogne, the Birthplace of Terroir”, produced by the Bourgogne Wine Board (BIVB), which showcases the creation of the geology of the Burgundy region that makes its wines so special.
