Domaines Henri Maire lifts the veil on this emblematic wine A SPACE DEDICATED TO VIN JAUNE In the heart of Arbois, the gourmet capital of Jura wines, the Domaines Henri Maire boutique reopened in January 2016 after a complete facelift. Visitors can discover the estate’s wines in this gilded showcase evoking the brand’s visual universe and the gold of the Jura: the famous vin jaune . This rare and unique wine, that has made the reputation of the Jura region, has been showcased in the store in a dedicated space since June. A glass-bottomed barrel offers a window onto the mysterious ageing process, where the wine is aged for six years under a veil of yeast. Two glass containers show the different nuances of the soil from Château Chalon and Henri Maire’s flagship estate, the Domaine du Sorbief.
