Les Nouvelles de BOISSET - SUMMER 2018 - N°41
20 Boisset La Famille des Grands Vins www.boisset.com - Summer 2018 A Franco-Indian partnership straight from an Indian vineyard J’NOON AND JCB No. 47 Kapil Sekhri, owner of the 97-hectare Fratelli Vineyards in India, and our very own Jean-Charles Boisset have joined forces to create three high- quality Indian wines: J’Noon in red and white, and the sparkling JCB No. 47. J’Noon is Jean-Charles Boisset’s personal interpretation of the Urdu word “ junoon ”, meaning “passion”, and which describes the spirit governing the creation of this range of Indian wines, produced in a limited edition of 2,400 bottles. J’Noon red is a blend of mostly Cabernet-Sauvignon with the addition of Petit Verdot, and a touch of Sangiovese. J’Noon white is a blend of partially barrel-aged Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. The range is already being sold in India and will be available in the USA from this summer. The name JCB No. 47, as with all JCB sparkling wines, is highly symbolic - referring to the year India became independent. JCB No. 47 is a brut sparkling wine made with 100% Chardonnay grapes, with a uniquely Indian touch. fratelliwines.in/jnoon/index2. html#welcome California JCB Tasting Salon - Yountville www.jcbwines.com JCB homage to kissing, French-style! The family’s only transversal brand encompassing both French and American wines in a range of exclusive limited editions, JCB presents its latest cuvée , French Kiss. 100% Gamay, French and sparkling, it is made to seduce with its ruby bubbles, fruity notes of blackcurrant and blueberry, and low degree of alcohol (7.5%), thanks to the use of the “ancestral method”* – all in very glamourous packaging! From aperitif to dessert, especially for chocolate dishes, French Kiss is a perfect accompaniment for gourmet moments. Women will adore it, and men will readily adopt this wine sweetened with only the natural sugar of the fruit. Drink well chilled. ULTRA-PREMIUM VODKAS AND GINS The eponymous brand with its glamorous style expressed in black and gold has added to its spirits range. The newest members are three vodkas (classic, caviar, and truffle) and one gin, all produced in a limited edition, just like the wines in the collection. They are all distilled from Burgundian Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes. Their elaborate production process, following several years of research, and their luxurious packaging means they are classified in the ultra-premium category. All the excellence of Burgundy wine can be found here in a more spirited version. These new spirits are exclusively available from La Maison Vougeot and in the brand’s California salons. www.lamaisonvougeot.com www.jcbcollection.com/visit Grand cru coffee Two years ago in Yountville, the gastronomic capital of Napa Valley, Jean-Charles Boisset opened an exceptional boutique; Atelier by JCB.
