Fortant’s Grands Terroirs wins gold at IWSC

Minervois 2018 Grands Terroirs won a gold medal and was named best wine in its category at the International Wine and Spirit Competition, which featured submissions from some 90 territories worldwide.

The only French red wine to be rewarded by a jury composed of industry professionals and masters of wine, this is a well-earned recognition for the rigorous selection and vinification efforts by Fortant.

“A complex wine which opens on aromas of ripe fruit, with a hint of blueberry and peppercorn. Rich and smooth in the mouth, with a very fruity, complex finish, underscored with notes of white pepper.”
