From 27 March to 2 April 2018, Sète will once again be celebrating maritime traditions by hosting 120 legendary ships from around the world, notably the Hermione, which is sailing for the first time in Mediterranean. Fortant, which was founded in Sète and whose wines bear the emblem of the port’s lighthouse, will once again be on deck for the first maritime eco-festival in France as sponsor.
Fortant has been a partner of this biannual event for three years, helping it reach beyond the borders of the Languedoc region. Once again this year, the house colors will fly over the town throughout the week. Tastings will be offered in around 30 partner restaurants and on the two Fortant stands in the Escale village in Sète. As a highpoint of this maritime gathering, two unique events will be proposed. A crossing from Barcelona to Sète from 25 to 27 March, reserved for 10 of the wine house’s lucky clients on board an historic four-mast sailing ship, and then a private party aboard a magnificent yacht on 27 March.
