Festival Street Art on the Roc 2017

For the second year in a row, Louis Bouillot was delighted to support this uniquely unusual festival in the Bourgogne winegrowing region: Street Art on the Roc. With the backing of the Communauté de Communes du Pays de Nuits-Saint-Georges and the Association for the Climats of the Bourgogne Winegrowing Region, the quarry in the tiny village of Villars-Fontaine with just 150 inhabitants was transformed into an open-air arena dedicated to the arts.


From 20-27 August 2017, almost 11,000 visitors came to the quarry to enjoy a range of different events including jazz concerts, performances by a symphony orchestra, open-air movie screenings, theater performances, sculpture displays, and circus acts.


The week was one of emotion and creativity, with huge murals created by international graffiti artists and painters. The festival seeks to connect with its audience through plenty of events for all-comers in this exceptional space. Louis Bouillot is very proud to have supported last year’s event and is excited to be involved once again in the 2018 edition.
