In 2012, the California Travel Association (CalTravel), an influential professional tourism body in the Golden State, awarded the wine-tourism prize to Buena Vista.
In 2017, it was visitor votes that named Buena Vista the best wine destination and best tasting experience in a competition organized by two Sonoma newspapers, the Santa Rosa Press Democrat and the Sonoma Index-Tribune.
This historic wine house in Carneros, between Sonoma and Napa, was created in 1857 by Count Agoston Haraszthy and is classed as an historic monument. It has been entirely renovated since it was acquired by the Boisset family in 2011, and offers a range of original themed tastings to the delight of visitors.
