Raymond Vineyards has been closely associated with the craft of the sommelier for 10 years now.
This began with the creation of a special wine, Sommelier Selection, made by sommeliers for the restaurant trade, and has continued through support of the United Sommeliers Foundation, which comes to the aid of professionals affected by restaurant closures.
A fund-raising sale of the 2017 vintage allowed Raymond Vineyards to pay $12,000 to the charity.
The 2018 vintage, available in spring, will mark 10 years of this collaboration. To commemorate the occasion, the names of the 84 sommeliers, who have come to Raymond Vineyards over the years to create this special wine made for a good cause, will feature on the label.
