Since 1921, Moncigale wines have been an ode to Provence’s rosés. VILLA MONCIGALE offers an impressive collection of rosé terroir wines from the vineyards around the Sainte-Victoire mountain. At an altitude of 1011 m, the climate is cooler than along Provence’s coast. The vines thrive in calcareous clay soils into which they plunge their roots deep down to get the nutrients they need to yield grapes bursting with rich, concentrated juice that gives the wine its structure and fresh aromas and flavours. These « haute couture » rosés are made from different grape varieties, vinified separately and then assembled according to the style desired by the house: great freshness and aromatic intensity with a lot of finesse and structure on the palate. The bottle, "cicada", an exclusive creation by Villa Moncigale. The wines in this collection are bottled in a multi-faceted bottle that brings to mind the cicada's translucent wings and shows off the wine’s shimmering colour.
