Since its foundation in 1814 the story of J. MOREAU & Fils, one of the oldest houses in Chablis, has expanded its global reputation whilst retaining its values and commitment to quality through the centuries.

A deep knowledge of the soils and subsoils in Chablis allows J.MOREAU & Fils to identify the shade and character in each terroir to reveal all the richness and complexity with each new vintage.

The team believes that a day in the cellars is as important as a day in the vineyards for the wines, so the house “gives time to time” with plot selection, separate vinifications and long ageing on fine lees to bring precision and respect to our wines.
