An iconic Jura wine house

The Maire family has been associated with winemaking in the Jura for centuries going back to 1632. Patiently built for generations, Domaine MAIRE & FILS covers now over 800 acres (340 Ha of which 218 are in production) in the Jura Vineyards with parcels mainly located around the town of Arbois but also on famous villages such as Château Chalon or L’Étoile. Domaine Maire & Fils aims to become a leading light once again thanks to the intense work carried out in recent years: plot definition, identification of soils, respect for the environment, and various technical investments, all geared towards producing great wines as only the more northerly cool-climate regions can produce.
